WHAT IS DYSPORT?
Dysport® is an FDA-approved injectable that works beneath the skin to reduce muscle contraction, which in turn smoothes out moderate to severe frown lines. It’s FDA-approved and it helps diminish the appearance of unsightly lines by reducing muscle contraction in the brow and forehead area, and in turn, improves moderate to severe frown lines.

HOW DOES DYSPORT WORK?
Dysport® blocks the signal from the nerve to the muscles, ultimately resulting in a reduction of muscle activity and temporarily preventing contraction of the muscles that cause frown lines and other wrinkles.

WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?
It takes approximately two hours for the treatment to take effect. You’ll start to see results just a few days after the first treatment with the full effect around 14 days.

HOW LONG DOES DYSPORT LAST?
You’ll see the effects of Dysport® for up to four months.

HOW LONG DOES TREATMENT TAKE?
Treatment is quick and safe. Many people even get treatment during their lunch break, as sessions only last about 20 minutes.

WHAT ELSE SHOULD I KNOW?

• You absolutely must not lie on, touch, or rub the treated area for at least four hours.

• You’ll want to avoid wearing hats and headbands for a few days.

• You’ll want to schedule Dysport® injections at least two weeks before any special events.

Return to your daily routine! 

 

Treatment requires minimal downtime or recovery; it’s often called a lunchtime procedure (with good reason!). You’ll be able to go about your normal routine immediately after you leave our office!
